Resilience as a protective factor for teaching practice: analysis of scientific production

This article aimed to understand the role of resilience as a protective factor in teaching practice and how this process takes place. It was intended to describe which factors contribute to the development of resilience, and how they act in the teacher's life. For this, a systematic literature review was used as a methodology, through qualitative and quantitative research, with delimitation of dates, considering the period from 2012 to 2018. Scientific studies carried out in Brazil, found in the SciELO, Google databases were considered. Academic and CAPES Journals, using the terms resilience in teachers, social skills and Burnout in teachers for the search. The results indicate that resilience acts positively in the lives of teachers, helping them to deal with the tribulations that are involved in this profession. It is concluded that the development of social skills is necessary, thus suggesting the development of a good relationship in interpersonal relationships and in the work environment, the search for professional improvement and care with physical and mental health, to achieve of the resilience and success of his role as a teacher.
