The fruits of assai palms trees has aroused interest in other regions of the country mainly for consumption by athletes. This fact makes it necessary breeding research for the species to meet demand, mainly related to plant stability and adaptability. Were evaluated 30 different progenies from the municipality of Anajás and grown in Tomé-Açu, Pará, by two methodologies of stability, in the case Annicchiarico method and Wricke method for characteristics: average weight of the bunch (PMC), in grams; total fruit weight (PTF), in grams and; average weight of 100 fruits (PCF), in grams. Obtaining the conclusions that the two methodologies are capable to differentiate the behavior of stability and adaptability of the progenies, and may be used as complementary; to Annicchiarico the averages from characteristics increases gradually with the passing of the years, stabilizing in 2011 and 2012; except for PTF in the last year of evaluation with reduction, behavior is not expected; To PMC the progenies 10, 18 and 22 are superior in all conditions in the two methodologies, 10 being the most stable of three; to PTF stand out the progenies 10, 14; 18 and 20 in Annicchiarco and to Wricke the progenies 14 and 20; for PCF the best are 1, 4, 10, 13 and 30 for Annicchiarico, in this characteristic the more stable for Wricke differ, if highlighting 2, 22 and 29.
