Gobernanza y Calidad en la Educación Superior: Una Descripción Bibliométrica

Resumo

Considerando que las universidades contemporáneas enfrentan una presión significativa para reestructurar sus prácticas de dirección, es que este artículo se propone como objetivo identificar las tendencias de la producción científica en relación a la gobernanza y la calidad en el campo de la educación superior. Para esto, se desarrolló un análisis bibliométrico de los artículos de revistas indexadas en Web of Science publicados entre los años 2010 y 2020. Para el análisis de datos y la visualización de mapas bibliométricos se utilizaron los programas computacionales Bibliometrix y VOSviewer. Los resultados evidencian un aumento en la producción científica si se comparan los años extremos del período analizado. Asimismo, se identificaron tres temas principales de investigación, a saber, 1) leyes y reformas a la educación superior, 2) percepciones de los académicos sobre las reformas, el nuevo escenario docente y sus niveles de satisfacción, y 3) compromiso y participación del estudiante. Se concluye que desde una perspectiva transversal el liderazgo de los directivos, la participación y el pensamiento crítico de los estudiantes, así como también la colaboración entre instituciones de educación superior son aspectos esenciales para que estas lleven a cabo sus roles con énfasis en la calidad.

Finalmente se proyecta un campo con publicaciones en aumento que aborden esta temática a partir del contexto de la educación superior en el que aspectos como la desregulación, la búsqueda de la calidad y la necesidad de autonomía financiera se perciben como necesidades urgentes.
